When you have a charging station or charging point installed, you are required to have an electrical inspection carried out in Belgium. Just like when installing an additional circuit for solar panels, expanding the electrical installation with a circuit for a charging station or charging point is subject to this inspection obligation.

Before you can use your new home charger, an independent inspection body must check and approve the adjustments to your electrical installation in accordance with the AREI standards applicable at that time. Blossom is responsible for the complete installation of the home charger, which is why we arrange this inspection for you and the costs are included in your quote.

Violations of the AREI in the general electrical installation of your home are your responsibility.
If your installation is rejected as a result, you must remedy these violations and organize a re-inspection yourself. Any costs that arise from this will not be borne by Blossom.
