With a private charging card, you charge at your own charging point for personal use, for example for a second privately owned electric car. Charging sessions with a private charging card are not reimbursed.
Which charging cards can you activate as a private charging card?
A Blossom private charging card that you have received from us
A charging card from another provider
You cannot activate your Blossom Public charging card as a private charging card. It is linked to your subscription.
Why do I need my charging point?
During activation, hold the charging card against your charging point. This sends the unique card number, so we know which card to register as your private charging card. You therefore need to be at your charging point to activate a private charging card.
How do I activate a private charging card?
Open the Blossom app and go to Profile > Private charging card. If you have ordered and received a Blossom Private charging card, you can also start via Activate private charging card on your home screen.
Tap Add private charging card and select I want to activate a private charging card.
Tap Get started.
Hold your charging card against your charging point until the app has found your card.
Give your private charging card a recognizable name. This way, you can easily find your charging sessions later in your overview. Tap Next.
Your private charging card is now active and can be used to charge at your charging point, without automatic reimbursement of charging costs.
Manage your private charging card
Via Profile > Private charging card, you can change the name of your private charging card or remove the card.
